Preaching is central to the worship of God at BPC. Grounding every sermon in Scripture, we preach "Christ and him crucified" (1 Cor 2:2), and in this act God meets with his people and grows them spiritually through instruction and encouragement. He also calls everyone to turn from sin and believe in Christ. We highly value preaching at BPC because, as one theologian put it, it "is the central gift of the Spirit given by Christ to the church."
